How the non-scientific activities can influence the perspective of science?

The non-scientific activities include the innovations in philosophy, literature, art and human rights. They have impact on the perspective of science. A scientist who is also a philosopher, writer, artist and human rights activist is more useful for the humanity than those scientists who limit their activities in sciences. His (her) non-scientific activities have impact on the perspective of science in human life.
