Dr. Taraneh Javanbakht's expertise and works are in different branches of engineering such as chemical engineering, electrical engineering, biochemical engineering, mechanical engineering (rheology) and materials engineering. She has worked in the Institute of Biomedical Engineering at Ecole Polytechnique of Montreal. The results of this research have been published in the Journal of Biomedical Materials Research in 2013. She has taught courses in polymer chemistry, biomaterials, nanotechnology and surface physics to graduate and undergraduate students in the Institute of Biomedical Engineering at Ecole Polytechnique of Montreal since 2011.

Dr. Taraneh Javanbakht is the co-author of the chapter 8 of the book entitled "Shape Memory Polymers for Biomedical Applications" that was published by Woodhead Publishing in 2015. This book is available here and here on Amazon. It can also be purchased here.

Dr. Taraneh Javanbakht has co-supervised several research projects in biomedical engineering at the Ecole Polytechnique of Montreal.
