Dr. Taraneh Javanbakht's expertise and works are in different branches of engineering such as chemical engineering, electrical engineering, biochemical engineering, mechanical engineering (rheology) and materials engineering. She has worked in chemical engineering at the Ecole Polytechnique of Montreal. Her papers on the surface treatment of superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles and crystalline nanocellulose via photo-initiated chemical vapor deposition and their physicochemical characterization were published in the Journal of Nanoparticle Research in 2015 and in the Canadian Journal of Chemical Engineering in 2016.
