Dr. Taraneh Javanbakht's expertise and works are in different branches of engineering such as chemical engineering, electrical engineering, biochemical engineering, mechanical engineering (rheology) and materials engineering. She has worked on the functionalization, physicochemical characterization and biological analysis of microelectrode arrays (MEAs) at the École Polytechnique de Montréal. The MEAs have been widely used in microelectronics.
Her paper entitled "Comparative study of antibiofilm activity and physicochemical properties of microelectrode arrays" on the physicochemical and antibiofilm properties of MEAs was published in Microelectronic Engineering in 2020. This paper is available here.
Her other paper entitled "Physicochemical properties of peptide-coated microelectrode arrays and their in vitro effects on neuroblast cells" on the physicochemical characterization and biological analysis of MEAs was published in the Journal of Materials Science and Engineering in 2016. This paper is available here.
